A dear friend emailed asking some questions about my kids likes and dislikes (for gift giving purposes) and these are the answers I got from them- in their own words. Enjoy!
Hannah’s answers:
What is your favorite sport? ‘I can’t decide between bowling and golf’
What are your favorite two animals (dinosaurs included)? ‘kittens and unicorns and doves’
What are your favorite three things to do? ‘play dinosaurs with daddy, read books with daddy and mommy, watch I love Lucy’
What is your favorite fruit? ‘mangos and I also like pineapple’
What do you want to be when you grow up? ‘foster parent’
Anything else that you want to say about what you love? ‘my mom and dad, and babies, dancing and gymnastics and swimming and doing art, and I like fairies’
Elias’ answers:
What is your favorite sport? ‘maybe its like doing stuff with balls or hockey and stuff maybe’
What are your favorite two animals (dinosaurs included)? ‘dragons, parrots, penguins and maybe I like some more things maybe- oooh lizards’
What are your favorite three things to do? ‘maybe I like to eat (giggle), watch I love Lucy, play video games, and maybe I like to play’
What is your favorite fruit? ‘maybe apples or oranges….one of those’
What do you want to be when you grow up? ‘I might make machines and I might maybe have an otter’
What else do you love? ‘uh…..I like noodles, well and of course I probably like animals’
Bayus’ answers:
What is your favorite sport? ‘going rollerskating and ice skating and going to parties’ (btw, he’s never been any form of skating so I don’t know where that came from. I’d have said he likes soccer)
What are your favorite two animals (dinosaurs included)? ‘lions, horsies and toys’
What are your favorite three things to do? ‘kick on cars, do soccer ball, and teleport’ (I have no idea where that came from either, something about running fast with friends and teleports?!?!)
What is your favorite fruit? ‘ice cream, watermelon’
What do you want to be when you grow up? ‘I want to jump up and down and wave my arms’ (not sure if he means a gymnast or a super hero?)
What else do you love? ‘um, horsies again and tigers again and lions again and no more kinds for me’
