This year Elias is participating in a local homeschool cubscout group for the first time and so far…..HE LOVES IT! You should see the overflowing excitement in him everytime he puts on that uniform and heads to another meeting or outing. We’ve only been a part of the group for a month now but already he’s been able to do an over night at a local fire station (camping on the lawn) and he’s been able to go on a full campout with the group over a weekend (daddy and Uncle Haven went with). He has a small growing pile of badges for everything from leatherworking to fire safety and ‘leave no trace’ principles. This month the scouts sell popcorn to raise money for future events such as the pine car derby in January and camps.

That is the one Eddie is interest in too! We haven’t had it yet though- all we’ve tried is some chocolatly popcorn one that was wayyyyy too good 😉
